Sharon Wallace O'Berry

Sharon Wallace O’Berry, 68 of Newport News, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 8, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mason O’Berry and her parents, George Doc  and Doris Holt Wallace. Sharon is survived by her children, Rick (Nanc) O’Berry,  Cherie (Glenn) Murray and Greg (Debbie) O’Berry; sister, Ann (Pete) Wallace; sister in Christ,  Sonya Flint; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Sharon worked in healthcare most of her career, most recently with The American Cancer Society and Riverside Hospital. She was a cancer survivor and was passionate about their research, advocacy and patient support provided by such an incredible organization. She was a kind and generous person and a faithful member of Carrollton Holiness Church for over 20 years. 

Family and friends will celebrate Sharon’s life Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Carrollton Holiness Church, 16144 Carrollton Blvd, Carrollton, VA 23314. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Carrollton Holiness Church.
