Raymond Bernard Nicholson

Raymond Bernard Nicholson, a devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on May 22, 1931, Raymond dedicated his life to his family and his career, shining brightly as a skilled union carpenter renowned for his ability to fix anything that needed repair.

Raymond proudly served in the U.S. Navy, where he developed a strong sense of duty and responsibility that extended into every aspect of his life. A man of many talents and interests, Raymond was passionate about the great outdoors and cherished his time spent fishing. At heart, he was a loving companion and supporter, notably assisting his devoted wife, Nancy McCormick Nicholson, by attending craft shows.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 33 years Nancy; his daughters, Mona Jones (Joe) and Susie Nicholson; and his son, Mark Nicholson (Maria). He will be deeply missed by his family, who carries forward his legacy of love and dedication.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert Nicholson and Anna Corrado Nicholson; his daughter, Toni Williams; and his son, Raymond Nicholson Jr. Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
