Nettie Lee Carver

Nettie Lee Carver, 96, of Battery Park, VA, went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 28, 2020.  Mrs. Carver was the daughter of the late William Stewart and Lillie May Ennis Lee.  She was preceded in death by her husband Earl C. Carver,  daughter Linda L. Carver, and brother William Stewart.  Mrs. Carver is survived by her daughter, Susan C. Edwards; sons, Michael E. Carver and Richard C. Carver; grandchildren, Shawn, Chris, Kimberly, Jill, Jennifer and Eric; great grandchildren, Evan, Ella Grace, Hannah, Luke, Lizzy, Lillie and Liam.  Mrs. Carver was a  faithful member of Battery Park Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the Choir for over fifty years..  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, 11 a.m. in Battery Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Battery Park Baptist Church,10309 Newport St, Battery Park, VA 23304.
