Michael Wayne Olver

Michael Wayne Olver, 64, of Carrollton, VA went home to be with Jesus on January 20, 2025. Mike was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ellan J. Olver; his son, Jeremy M. Olver; his mother, Shirley J. Olver; his sisters, Gail O. Koch (Steve), Sharon O. Marshall (Dolton); 3 nephews, Nathan Marshall (Mollie), Douglas Koch (Kim), Adam Marshall (Angel); 8 great nephews; and 1 great niece. Mike was preceded in death by his father William C. Olver and his grandmother Juanita Hinman. Mike lived in Carrollton for 35 years. He was employed with Fluor Atlantic Group and Day and Zimmermann at Surry Nuclear Power Plant as a pipefitter, foreman and general foreman for 30 years. There will be a memorial service on January 31, 2025 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Silver Spoon Ministries/The Depot, 111 Railroad Ave. Wakefield VA 23888.
