Martha Ann Cook Erricson

Martha Ann Cook Erricson, 79, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Lee Cook and Etta Mae Wells Cook. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lemieux; grandchildren, Chris, Emily and Amanda; great granddaughter, Madison; sister, Amanda “Mandy” Likens; brothers, Johnny Cook (Susan); James “Jim” Cook (Debbie). She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Leslie Erricson; and a son, William Henry Turner; sisters Molly Todd and Anne Belle Warren; brothers Samuel “Bud” Cook and Herbert “Pete” Cook.

She grew up in Isle of Wight County, VA, working with her family on the farm and later spending most of her working life in health care. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Smithfield.

Martha will be forever missed by family and friends alike and goes to God having lived a good life full of love for those around her. 

Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Littles Funeral Home, 1515 S Church Street, Smithfield, VA 23430, with a visitation one hour before the service.
