Marsha Lynn Holt

Marsha Lynn Holt, 67, of Surry, Va, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. She was the daughter of the late James Mercer Holt and Doris Earl Scott Holt. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Boldt (Tim) and Amanda Gail Jacob; grandchildren, Abby, Jack, Anna, Brady and Ryan; and a sister, Nancy Rorrer; She was also preceded in death by four siblings, James Earl Holt, Betty Thomas, Jackie Scarborough and Bobby Scott Holt.

Marsha was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad where she also served as an EMT. She was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church. She was a dedicated caregiver of her mother and father.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, 11 a.m. at Old Brick Church Cemetery, Bacon’s Castle, VA with James Christopher Holt officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 at Littles Funeral Home, Smithfield.
