Laurie Ann Luigs

Laurie Ann Luigs, 55, of Carrollton, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 surrounded by her family. Laurie was born in Houlton Maine, the daughter of Patricia Barnes. She is survived by her sons, Zachary Luigs and Shane Conley; sisters, April Barnes, Melissa Roebuck and Kristie Lawrence; brother, Richard Barnes; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an avid pool player as well as a lifelong Cowboys Fan. Her greatest joy in life were her sons, which were a source of great pride. During her battle with a prolonged illness, it was her faith that brought her comfort allowing her to be an example to her sons, of how to face adversity in life with a smile. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, 1 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, Va. with burial to follow in St. Luke’s Memorial Park.
