Kristen Lea Baker

Kristen “Kris” Lea Baker, 58, of Carrollton, Va, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. She was the daughter of the late William “Bill” Cooper Miller and Loraine “Laura” Laffey Miller. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert Charles Baker; daughter, Samantha Taplin (Vincent Owens); grandsons, Lucas and Wilder. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William “Dusty” Cooper Miller, Jr. Kris loved all her friends and family with a passion and loved her fur babies tremendously. She was a nurse by profession and a selfless and giving person at heart. She was also a huge University of Alabama football fan, “Roll Tide Roll”. She is loved and will be missed by many.
