Judith Beaulah Mickle Horne, 82, of Smithfield, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Arthur Mickle and Beaulah Ada Stall Mickle. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, whom she met in Virginia Beach while on vacation, Paul Riddick Horne, Jr; a son, Paul Riddick Horne, III; and two brothers, Maurice Mickle and Bernard Mickle. She is survived by her daughter, Paula H. Buss (Brian); sons, Billie Ray Horne and Michael Raymond Horne; grandchildren, Steven, Brian Jr, Jessica, Desiree and Lorelei; great grandchildren, Aeryana, Keagan, Micah, Nolan, Luca, Lachlan, Aurora, Finn, Lily and Luna; and a sister, Rosalyn Gaughan (Thomas); and her beloved pets, Charlie Brown and Tigger Brown. Judith Horne, Mom, Nana, Nana-the-Great… has finished the race. She is in the loving arms of God. Though this brings grief to those left behind without her, she is not crying, not in pain, without sorrow or fear. Jesus met her with open arms. We can only be ready to meet her there one day too. She loved to watch the sunrises over the James River from her house. A memorial service will be held at the residence 19023 Farm Rd, Smithfield, VA on Saturday April 16, 2022 at sunrise, 6:30 a.m. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
