Gary Wayne Edmonds

Gary Wayne Edmonds, 63, of Carrollton, VA passed away on Thursday November 7, 2024. He was born January 8, 1961 in Baltimore Maryland. He is the son of the late Lewis Henry Edmonds Sr. and Ethel Marie Edmonds, and was preceded in death by his brother Lewis Henry Edmonds Jr, and sister-in-law Joy Ann Edmonds. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Lisa Womack Edmonds; brother Terry Lee Edmonds; as well as several nieces and nephews.  

He was a graduate of Smithfield High School class of 1979. Gary was a heavy equipment mechanic and retired after several years from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. 

He had a passion for the outdoors and hunting. Gary was a life member of Carrollton Hunt Club. When not outdoors Gary could be found at home working in his shop. 

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 5:00 PM, at Littles Funeral Home and Cremation Service Smithfield. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 77, Carrollton, VA 23314, or Liberty Live Church Smithfield Campus, 1613 S. Church St., Smithfield, VA 23430.
